These Terms govern your use of the Voom platform. By accessing or using Voom, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By downloading, accessing, or using the Voom application or website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
Voom is a technology platform that connects customers with local merchants and independent delivery drivers. Voom facilitates transactions but is not itself a merchant, restaurant, or delivery company. The actual sale of goods and delivery services are provided by independent third parties.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Voom platform. By using Voom, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that all registration information you submit is accurate and truthful.
Orders placed through Voom are requests sent to the relevant merchant. Voom does not guarantee product availability, pricing accuracy, or order fulfillment. Once a merchant accepts your order, a binding transaction is formed between you and the merchant. Voom is not a party to that transaction.
Prices displayed include item prices, delivery fees, service fees, and applicable taxes. All fees are clearly communicated before order confirmation. Voom reserves the right to adjust fees at any time with reasonable notice.
Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the order status and the merchant's policy at the time of the request. Once a merchant has accepted and begun preparing your order, cancellation may not be possible. Disputes are handled through the in-app support process.
You agree not to: use the platform for any unlawful purpose; submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information; interfere with or disrupt platform operations; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the system; or harass, abuse, or harm any other user, driver, or merchant.
All content, trademarks, logos, and software on the Voom platform are owned by or licensed to Voom. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services or included software without express written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Voom and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Voom in the three months preceding the claim.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lubumbashi, DRC.
Lubumbashi, DRCVoom reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
